Dr Charles Alessi is HIMSS Chief Clinical Officer. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge around health and care. He is also Senior Advisor to Public Health England, an executive agency of the UK government. He is also Adjunct Research Professor in Clinical Neurosciences at the Schulich school of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario, Canada and Visiting Scholar at the Odette School of Business, in Windsor Ontario, Canada. He is a primary care physician and was until recently, Chair of the National Association of Primary Care in England
