A nurse, an Associate Professor at Medical University of Lodz, the President of the Florence Foundation for the Promotion of Digitization and Development of Care Standards, a Coordinated Care Specialist in the Department of Health System Development (DR SOZ), a Director member of the Board of Directors of the European Nursing Research Foundation (ENRF), the member of Transparency Council at Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System, a chairwoman of the Council for e-Health in Nursing, Director of the Council of Directors the European Nursing Research Foundation (ENRF) and the Director of the ICNP Accredited Research and Development Center ICNP at the Medical University of Lodz and vice-president of the Council for SNOMED CT at the Center of Health Information Systems (CSIOZ), an independent expert of the International Council of Nurses, in the European Federation of Nurses Association, in WHO, in World Bank, in the Ministry of Health, in the field of health policy, in particular in nursing and safety of care, its coordination and continuation, a chairwoman of the Board of the Branch of the Polish Nursing Association, Branch in Łódź. The Silver Leader of Health Care 2017 in the area of Innovation in Health Care. An expert on European Affairs in the Ministry of Health.

Research and implemented projects related to issues concerning patient safety, including, in particular, computerization of healthcare, telecommunications, medical interoperability and integrated care, including the competence of the nursing staff to coordinate care and provide its continuity by ensuring Positive Practice Environment (PPE), especially in the area of basic health care; implementing international standards for the EHR.

The author and co-author of publications on the above mentioned issues and lectures at national and international conferences. The manager of international projects HealthProElderly, TeleNRsCare, EN4Care – WP Integrated Care – financed from Norwegian and European funds.

The creator of an application for documenting medical events in nursing.

Also implemented prescription writing by nurses.

In 2005-2012, the president of the Polish Nursing Association and a delegate in international structures: the International Council of Nurses (ICN), the European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN), a member of the Board of the European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN).

Membership in organizations: Polish Nursing Association, Polish Association HL7, International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth – ISfTeH, the Association for Common European Nursing Diagnoses, Interventions and Outcomes – ACENDIO.
