Piotr Soszyński

Strategic Medical Advisory Director, Medicover

Physician (MD), graduated at the Warsaw Medical University, specialist in internal medicine with doctoral degree (PhD) from the Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education, Warsaw.

For several years he worked as a physician and lecturer at the Department of Endocrinology, Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education. At that time he also spent several years at the leading medical organizations in the United States, including the Harvard Medical School in Boston (1992-4). From 1997 he worked as Medical Director at the Bayer Healthcare Poland branch, and later as Clinical Research Director and head of the Polish office of AstraZeneca clinical research regional centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Co-founder and Member of the Board (2000-4) of the Association for Good Clinical Practice in Poland.

Dr. Soszyński has been with Medicover since 2005. Former Member of the Board (2010-17), currently he is responsible for strategic medical advisory, mainly in healthcare innovation, medical systems and telemedicine. Member of the Board of the Telemedicine Working Group and Member of Education Quality Committee at the Warsaw Medical University. Co-author of the Medicover Health Report: Work. Health. Economy.  Perspective 2013-2017.
