Wim Smit has the ambition to make healthcare more expedient world-wide. He is a data-driven healthcare innovator with substantial experience in healthcare analytics, entrepreneurship and IT. He is founder and Director Strategy & Innovation of Value2Health, part of LOGEX Group, encompassing 9 countries in Europe and the Middle East.

Wim Smit has played a pivotal role in establishing the data processing, ICT infrastructure and governance for 25 national registries in The Netherlands and beyond. The infrastructure is used by ~10.000 medical specialists for continuous quality improvement of patient populations, shared decision making with individual patients, research, contracting and value-based healthcare initiatives. Furthermore, Smit is regularly consulted for his views on the transformation to value-based payment models by governments, payers and industry.
