Dorota Korycińska

President of Neurofibromatosis Association Poland

Dorota Korycińska is a social psychologist. For last 20 years she has been involved in activities for patients and families burdened with rare diseases as well as disabled people.

She is one of the founders and President of the Association of Neurofibromatosis Poland (former Association of Patients with Recklinghausen Disease and other phakomatosis disases).

For years she has been putting a lot of effort in providing patients with Neurofibromatosis with systemic health care.

The success was achieved in 2020 as a result of exemplary cooperation between the Association of Neurofibromatosis Poland and involved clinical experts. The patients will be included in “Pilot programme in the field of coordinated medical care for Neurofibromatosis and related rasopathies”.

Since November 2019 she has been the President Of Polish National Cancer Federation, associating leading organizations of oncology patients.
