Lukasz Koltowski, MD, PhD, FESC – an interventional cardiologist and adjunct Professor at the First Department and Clinic of the Warsaw Medical University. Completed Foundation Program at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK. Honoured for his doctoral thesis by the faculty council of the Medical University of Warsaw.
Author of numerous scientific papers in the field of interventional cardiology, functional assessment and intravascular imaging published in journals with a total impact factor 280 and h-index 15. Invited speaker and workshop facilitator, incl. EuroPCR, ESC and AISN. Awarded the Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and the prestigious Innovator “Under 35” award granted by MIT Technology Review.
He is a Board Member of the European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (European Society of Cardiology) and the eCardiology section of the European Society of Cardiology. Initiator and author of the Baltic Declaration – barriers to the development of telemedicine in Poland, signed by the Minister of Health. Appointed by the European Commission to the team of experts developing the document mHealth Guidelines, appointed by the Minister of Health as an expert to create the Strategy for the Development of e-Health in Poland for 2018-2022.
Inventor of numerous solutions in the field of mobile health and systems for supporting medical decisions. Inventor of AioCare (digital spirometer), Smartmedics (ECG patch), and afterAMI (digital therapeutics).
