Robert Mołdach

Co-Founder of the Institute of Health and Democracy

Dr Robert Mołdach is a global thinker inspiring strategic solutions supporting sustainable development of health care systems. He is a practitioner who focuses on system reforms that reduce health inequalities, improve the quality and safety of care and increase clinical and financial efficiency.

Robert is a member of the Board of Experts at the Ombudsman for Patients’ Rights, European Commission expert on European Structural and Investment Funds in Healthcare, BOMA speaker and assistant professor at the Warsaw School of Economics, where he teaches strategic management in health care. He is co-founder of the Institute of Health and Democracy which is a forum for dialogue on the value of public health.

By combining the passion of an aeroplane pilot with his professional work, he shows analogies between aviation and health care in terms of safety culture, decision-making and cooperation.

Robert received a diploma from the Warsaw University of Technology in the Basic Problems of Technology (MEL), defended his doctoral thesis in the 4th Department of Technical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and completed a number of postgraduate educational programmes including Medical Group Management (ACMPE) and Creating Public Value (Harvard Kennedy School).
